Fresh water drains?

On my 1999 34' Excella there are two large radiator style drain petcocks. Both corroded and one smashed long ago.

What are these parts? What is their function?

Thanks on advance.

I believe those are your fresh water line low point drains. They are readily available at many hardware stores.

They are for letting all the water out of both the hot and cold water lines lowest points for winterizing the trailer.

I replaced mine with brass ball valves. I posted details and pictures on the repair forum, but can't remember where. You may search the forum and find it.
