I do not know the answer to your question... we have a 1963 Bambi and our fresh water is around 20 - 25 gallons (we have the original galvanized tank) and our tiny black tank is about 7 - 8 gallons... you might check the vintage airstream thread and see if any information is here...

Otherwise, I would do a search for 1964 Globetrotter fresh water tank and see if you find anything. Somewhere there is a listing of owner's manuals... I don't know if they were producing them yet in 1964, I know they did not for 1963.... you might check that in a search as well. Good luck!

I do, I do! Well...sort of ~

Our '64 GlobeTrotter has the original tanks, a sale brochure and the owner's manual that came with it ('64 was the first year for owner's manuals). It says the fresh water tank is 30 gallons, it does not say what the black tank is though. My estimate is 10 gallons which is enough for a several days if you conserve. We use a 5 gallon bucket to fill it when cleaning sometimes - it holds about 2 full buckets of water.

You can see what the black tanks look like here. It is very flat and shallow which is why it is prone to "the cone" effect if too little water is used.

I called inland RV and they gave me the following information. The fresh water tank capacity is 30 gallons and the black water tank holds 28 gallons.

Really? I don't think so, not in my GT.
