Do pressure regulators fail

It seems like I have been chasing leaks all over my trailer. Yesterday I thought I had fixed them all. Then later that night water is leaking from under the toilet. I shut the water off and went to bed.

Lying in bed this morning I remember being impressed with the water pressure at the shower yesterday when I first turned the water back on. I am @ my parents lake house which is on a well pump. I unhooked the hose from the as and checked the water pressure with and without the regulator. They both seemed the same.

When i tested the shower in fort worth before I left it seemed like the water pressure @ the shower was pretty low.

Do these things fail? Mine is a brand new brass one. Any suggestions?

We will soon begin traveling with our family of 5 (and a large dog) Looking forward to remodeling our Airstream, awesome adventures, and meeting new people.

Yes...anything can fail.

You may use more than one. I use (two) - outside on the water hose.

You may also open the water supply valve slightly.

If on a pump system, pressure will vary.

Even with all this, the source of you leaks may be unrelated.
