I have used a hack saw blade which worked pretty well. Mine were easy to get to. I just sawed until just thru the ring and used a screw driver to break it free.
There is probably a tool just for that use but I do not have one.

yes, there is a pex crimp removal tool. I picked one up at home depot for about $25. Prior to that, I used a dremel cut off wheel, but you need to be careful so you don't cut into the pex itself.
