broken fresh water tank hose

In my 71 Tradewind I have a broken hose coming out of the fresh water tank. There is a small access hole in the floor, but it looks like a real knuckle buster to get at it. I am thinking it might be a whole lot easier if I cut out a piece of belly pan to get at it? Also the hose geos into what looks like a water filter? Can I move the filter to a better location?

Marshall, As you have already noticed, the "hole" where the hose enters the fresh water tank has little access. I was able to install a new hose in my 71 without removing the belly pan. However, if you wanted to remove the pan, be certain of your point of entry as to not make a hole in the fresh water tank. The water filter can be located to another location. The factory located it where it is to save cabinet space I suppose.
