Bathroom Water Pump Switch?

The 2001 Bambi/Safari manual says there is a water pump switch in the bathroom. In my 2001 Safari 25 I have a switch panel with a light switch, a switch and indicator for the water heater, and only a dummy cap in the position marked pump. I pulled the panel but I did not find any unattached wiring. Was this feature removed without changing the manual?

Thanks,
Al

Water Pump Switch

On my 1999 Safari the water pump switch is located left of the kitchen sink in the panel with the black/gray/fresh water level indicators. You might check there.

Sounds like it. Some modes have a pump switch by the sink and the bathroom. I don't have one so I don't know if they are 3 way or override type.

Denis, my 2006 Safari 25FB has only the light and water heater switch in the bathroom. The pump switch is in the kitchen above and to the right of the stove.

Did they make two versions of the same trailer?

Mine is a Special Edition...not sure if that makes a difference.

So is mine. Lets see, mine is a 2006 Safari 25 FB SE LS

Mine does not have that wide stripe that goes down the side that is about 4 inches wide though. Perhaps they did put out two different varieties in 2006. I was interested in this thread because last summer I changed out my water pump switch for an illuminated one. I saw some great pictures here and one of the posters had a 2006 just like mine with the water pump switch in the kitchen as well.

I have one on the monitor panel in the kitchen, was just curious about the manual and the blank spot in the bathroom.

Al,

Sorry for hijacking your thread. I just read my manual and it speaks to the switch in conjunction with the monitor panel. It doesn't specifically mention the location but it sounded like it was at the monitor panel. Since yours is a '05 with the space still there in the bathroom it just might be when they were in the process of moving it to the kitchen. I don't know why they would install a three switch in the bathroom and not use all of them. This is the kind of stuff that drives me mad. I can certainly see where you are coming from.

Whoops, just read again that yours is a 2001. Now I am really confused.

The manuals are written in a "one size fit all format", and you find stuff like this. The newer units are not as bad as the older ones. It is not uncommon for the reader to have more questions after the reading the manual than before they started.
