So..... What's an 'auto fill' valve?

We used to have them in Pubs in Great Britain - you'd push your glass up under the upended bottle and it would dispense (auto fill) a shot of whiskey automatically.

Didn't know Airstream's came with them.

auto fill

I hav a switch on the controll and tank panel that opens a valve on the city water line and fils the on board tank.It is stuck open so when you try to use the pump and on board tank itjust goes from tank to pump to tank and not to the faucets.

Similar problem

hi Joel, I have a similar problem on a 1990 Limited, except that water pours from the potable inlet on the curb side. It's supposed to stop at 3/4 full but instead just flows out the other side. When I turn on the pump to use the water I get a leak from the water pump.

I was wondering if you figured a solution yet and what it was.

Thanks

On my 1991 34', the valve and an inline filter are under the closet floor. The electronics that control it are located...?

Control for the auto fill live behind the monitor panel over the stove. On city water, when auto fill is activated, it will automatically fill then stop the tank when full. If yours is stopping prior to full, you can calibrate the scale by adjusting the potentiometer on the back side of the circuit board. It is clearly marked. Fill the tank to full, then adjust the pot so the LEDs report full.
This is a very handy feature, but can take a while as the plumbing is 1/4" tubing.

I'm currently having this problem but there is no control switch on my monitor panel. I have a '90 25' Excella. Here's my thread: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f445...es-141995.html

Can anyone help? I'm stuck in a remote part of the Oregon Coast with no running water - except overhead.

Thanks,
John
