'78 Int'l - fresh tank drain valve

Can someone tell me where I can find my drain valve for my fresh water tank on my 1978 airstream international?

I can't find one, either, so far. On a '76 it is a plug underneath the trailer. On a '75 it is a valve on the inside. But the '78 seems a mystery, so far. Maybe it is somewhere behind the bed where the fill is.

I don't have one on my 1978 Ambassador. I have a flap underneath on the belly pan that comes off and exposes the bottom of the tank. I think that is where the valve should go but there is no valve. I drain my tank by running the water out a faucet.

I have the same unit. There is a small cover underneath the trailer directly below the filler inlet. There is a drain tube ( 1/2') passing through it. Behind that there should be a plug that requires a 5/8 hex allen to remove it. The plug is plastic and is 1 1/2 '' pipe thread. At least that is how it is on a 31' center bath. Good Luck
