Greetings and welcome to the Forum.
Where the line is, and if it’s a hot or cold pipe makes a big difference in the repair.
One of the previous owners neglected the plumbing and both the hot and cold lines split in the closet on my TW double. Someone fixed these by blobbing as much solder over the split as they could smear on. It was easy to get to.
If it’s under the sink cabinet, by the water heater, in the bathroom or the city water line it gets much more involved. As you’ve discovered, the cabinets are a pain to get out or disassemble.
Let us know where the pipe’s gone bad and maybe we can point you in the right direction.
Good luck,
Tom
