'61 overlander international

I want to update the fresh water tank in our 61 Overlander International. I replaced the facets. Still getting a lot of sediment out of the tanks.
Do we stay with the old style pressure tank or go plastic?

When I did it, it was cheaper to go plastic even with the added expense of a new pump. Just be sure to figure out where you want the inlet and outlets to the tanks and have the tank manufacturer plastic weld the fittings on the tank.

Just my opinion, but I would definately go plastic and a new pump. At least that way you will have current technology. Also, you will get more water in the same compartment area.

Plastic. Check PPL RV parts in Houston, they have very good prices on various size and shape fresh tanks. Ebay has several places that sell stock size tanks. If you can make one of them work you will save a lot of money. Plastic Mart will build you anything you want, any size or shape, but it is 3 or 4 times more expensive.
