ZipDee Screen Room experiences?

Does anyone have any experience with the ZipDee Screen Room? Just curious how it attaches and how much work it is to install? And does anyone have a ball park on the cost? It's would be for our 2003 22' Int CCD.

I thought about it.

I thought about buying a ZipDee Screen room for my 22 CCD. Then I checked the price. Ack! Then I thought about a wind storm, etc.

I've had to get my awning down quickly more than once. And we've all heard about bent awning arms, and holes poked in the side of our trailers because we left the awnings up and the weather turned bad.

The freestanding screen rooms tend to be much cheaper, and if they are staked down, then take a roll or collapse in a storm, they only destroy themselves.

Just my 2 cents

Paula

OK Lets talk about the free standing screen rooms. Who has one and what do you think of it?

I've got one I paid $35 for at Wal-Mart.(Their Ozark Trail brand) I love it, and have found it to be really good quality even in comparison to my really expensive backpacking tents. It's plenty big enough to set up over the picnic tables found in most campgrounds with room to walk all the way around. It's tall enough for me to stand up in without bonking my head (I'm 6'4"), and it's relatively easy to set up. Packs away in a nylon bag about two feet long and less than six inches in diameter. Don't know how I did without it before.

We have one, and it is great to sit outdoors inside and watch the mosquitoes fly past.

Ball park, a little under $1000.00.

Screen rooms have a tube at the bottom that you fill with water. That holds the screen room in place for normal winds.

Takes a couple of hours for the initial installation.
