ZipDee Awning Installation - how long might it take to install?

We've ordered the awning through an RV shop, and they telling us it not an easy install and that they need a full day. I have a feeling this is the first one they've done on a vintage trailer (51 Flying cloud). At a few hundred bucks per hour, that could be an insanely expensive installation. We don't want to do it ourselves as the awning itself is such an expensive item, and shipping, etc could also add up if we screwed it up or it was ordered incorrectly. Has anyone installed or had one installed who could let us know how long it took and what complications they ran into? Many thanks.

I installed all the awnings on my 65 Safari. The patio (main) took about 2 hours with help from my wife. The curbside awning only took an hour once the awning rail was on. Same thing for the rear window awning. It really was not that hard once it got going.

My wife and I installed all three awnings in about four hours. Take your time. Not much to it.
