Zip Dee on Globe Trotter?
I am considering ordering and having a ZipDee installed on my '67 Globetrotter. Anyone have a picture of a ZD on their vintage AS? I would love to see some other trailers before I pull the trigger. Thanks!
I see them on vintage trailers all the time...they look fine and are easy to set-up/take-down. We've had a (real) vintage pole & canvas awning for several years, but it "bit the dust" last year and we are considering getting a Zip Dee for our '56...

I put Zip Dees on the Caravel....Loved it....and they help the heat situation a lot. I can't find a curbside right off...I will look around.

I recently came by some old parts for a window awning for my 69-Globetrotter. Has anyone tried to retrofit a window awning to a patio awning? The tube will have to be shortened and I have the arms and rafters for the front and rear that conform to the G.T. I spoke with a rep from ZipDee and they told me I had to order all new parts including the Awning Fabric which is in good shape. I am just tired of staking it down for short over nights.
