Zip Dee has arrived!!!!!!

During our last camping trip, light rain began to fall just as dinner was coming off the fire. We had to hurry and drag everything back into the trailer. By then dinner was almost cold, so the decision was made to get a Zip Dee awning. We ordered it through Lew last week and came by truck this afternoon. Thank you Lew for the great service! I had planned on taking pics of the whole install, but decided it wasn't necessary as it went quite easy- the wife and I finished it in a couple of hours. The fabric we chose is "splash-spun pacific blue/natural." We are extremely pleased with it and are looking forward to getting some lights as well!

ZipDee Awning

We are restoring a 1975 28' Argosy. It has an awning now, but not a ZipDee and it isn't very attractive(wrong color).
Our local dealer is a jerk. Where did you order yours from and about how much if you don't mind me asking?

I ordered mine through a fellow forum member, "Lewster". His number is 239-601-8650. The total for ours came to $1062.50. Shipping was additional $106 COD. Took 8 days from the time I ordered it to arrive! --dave

me too!

how funny, i just got back indoors from installing our new zip dee! the misses and i had it installed in a couple of hours. it's not really rocket science. i can't believe how easy the install was. overall, we love it! i'll have to post some pics of ours as well. first camping trip in the trade wind is this saturday!

our trailer is 24 feet, which made the awning 13 feet, 11 1/4 inches. i believe our total was $1180 + $95 to ship it. directly from Zip Dee. you can't beat the polished hardware!
