The thing to do is to go to their website and check it out. If they have the flex key then it will be under their awnings. You can then call them and they will ship it to you, if they have it.
I went on line and purchased a part for my awning this wnter and it didn't take long to get it. They are very good to work with.
Just got this idea yesterday after removing the awning track and refastening and sealing. I looked on ZIP DEE web site and didn't see anything on flex keys listed, Didn't want to wait until Monday to see if its actually an option.
its the aluminum cover when the awning is retracted and rolls out when the awning is extended. On my ZIP DEE awnins there is a patent sticker with the name "Flex Key"
I also watch the video that was posted early today and that what they called it also.

We call the flex key, the "slats".
They are not expensive, but unless you picked them up at Zip Dee, they will cost more to ship than they are worth.
