Zip Dee Awning Repair - Golf Cart Accident

Good Afternoon All,

This past weekend we were staying in our Airstream about an hour from home over all had a nice weekend with the exception of the crash!

My wife was getting ready to take her mother, brother and our two nephews back to their car on our golf cart when the 4 year old slammed on the accelerator! My wife was sitting behind the wheel but it happened so fast that it took out the zip dee awning arm and messed up the wheel well trim! Thankfully no one was hurt but Airstream (thanking no skin damage!).

So here is my question. It ripped the bottom bracket (11A) in the diagram completely out. So it enlarged the holes slightly so what can I do when I put the bracket back so the screws will have something to bit into?

Thanks, Jody
