Zip Dee Awning Arm NEEDED!

My 6.0 Metre Agrosy dropped the hitch side (front) Zip Dee spring loaded arm (has the hook end), tie down wheel, and the bracket the tie down wheel screws into. It's somewhere on Interstate 15 near Temecula, CA. If you have one, know where I can get one, or found the one that I dropped, I'd be most grateful to hear from you. Thanks.

I have not used then but I understand there is a salvage yard in AR. called Hair Camper Repairs that has Airstreams and thus ZipDee. Try 205 665 2531 and ask for Sonny. This info came from a junk yard in Fl. last winter while I was looking for some awning parts.

Tim,
If all else fails, you couldprobably get the part directly from Zip-Dee.

Here's a link to the parts list for the curved ones used on Airstreams, Argosys, etc...

Awnings By ZipDee

Good luck.

I believe the road vibration loosened the metal screws attaching the bracket to the trailer. With the bracket gone, the arm was sure to follow.

I'll contact Sonny first thing tomorrow. If no luck, I'll contact Zip Dee. Thanks to all for the assistance.

thanks for the caution. I always strap the end arms together - now I will consider a way to secure the middle arm.

I took the middle arm off 15 years ago and have had no sagging problems.
