ZD rear main bar stuck - unable to adjust

The rafter bar is stuck in the main arm tube so adjustments cannot be done when pulling out the awning.
Can the Head casting be detatched from the awning roller bar?
Can't even get the rafter bar off of the Head Casting.
Even with Snap Stud and every bolt off of the arm, nothing moves.
Have tried most any type lubricant or degreaser on the market.
My next step/thought is to detach the Head Casting and Main Arm Hinge(at the bottom) and put the arm in a vice to pull apart with more force than I can produce with my two hands.
Anybody done this before or is it not recommended?

Sounds like the bar got twisted and torqued.

I would call ZipDee. They are very helpful (and have likely run into this before).
