What height is a vintage awning rail normally?

I took off my awning bar today, and realised that the pop rivets below the awning are in the exact same location as the awning holes, it's like the awning bar was raised 6 inches higher. Is it normal to have two rows of where to put your awning rail, in case you want it higher or lower? If not, what's the height on yours?

Attached is a pic of how far up the two rivet lines are from the middle of the eyebrow over the door. I have a 1953 Flying Cloud. It was on the higher height, but does it look better lower? Those pop rivets need to go anyway, so whichever height it gets reinstalled to I'd like it to be a clean original look.

Height from the ground up is okay too if you know it, I can measure to match!
