Vintage Window Awning Question

We just purchased a vintage awning and really like the look of these and the smaller detachable window awnings. My question concerns the window awnings. Are there removable arms to support vintage window awnings? I see that many simply use their windows to raise and lower their awnings but I want to go another route. Just curious what others do for this.

We have both a small Zip Dee awning that rolls out over a living room window (like the main awning) and we have Zip Dee covers that attach to the window itself. They have snaps along the top of the window and they attach to the bottom corners of the window. Those, of course, go up and down with the window. We use one mainly on the rear bathroom window along with the inside shade for more privacy.
