Vintage Awning for 1963, 26' Airstream Overlander

Hello. I am looking to buy a vintage rope and pole awning for my Overlander. I am in Texas and am looking online at several companies. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations of where to buy?

Also, I use my trailer as a mobile art studio. Most of the places I park are in the city, on cement. How can I hold the poles down on concrete?

Thank you!

Kristy made the awning for my Bambi II. Check her out here.

Make some concrete weights using a 2 gallon pale for the mold and set a u-bolt with the strap buried in the concrete.

If the site has a large heavy table run a rope through it to the top of each post on the awning.

Caution : when leaving the trailer take down the awning .

Thank you!

I've been in contact with Marti (before this post) and am waiting to hear back. The sand/bucket idea seems to be the one to go with!

The concrete mold sounds like a more permanent solution. I'll be trying that one too. Thanks!

Marti has done 5 awnings for us. I bought the present one for my 66 Overlander- from EBAY..Got a vinyl awning all ready to go ...added the grommets myself and bought poles locally. Cost under $70 total.
