Replacing material on a Carefree

We have a mid 80's carefree on our 74 Tradewind and we want to replace the material. We live in NE ohio and was wondering if anyone has any idea where we could find someone who could supply material and put it on because I am no longer able to do this myself. Talked to one RV dealer and they won't touch it because it is an airstream. So if anyone in our area has had awning work done on their airstream, any recommendations would be appreciated.

Well there is a place in Jackson Center, OH that works on Airstreams (it's been reported that they build them to) many have said their repair quality is great.

TomW, a frequent poster here on the forums and good friend of mine, had a local awning/canvas shop replace the fabric on his 67 Overlander. I have seen it and it looks great and the stripe pattern matches the original. The fabric was a vinyl made by Weblon with is used extensively in the boat industry. I search last year for a replacement for my Trade Wind and came to the same conclusion. I would have to have one custom made in order to keep the original look. There are lots of boat and sail supply businesses, most in Florida, that carry the fabric if your local shop can't find it.
