No I would not expect it to have a new generation board. Airstream uses up existing stock first. So verify with ZipDee.

Exactly right. Have your dealer install the latest version of the control board before taking possession. [emoji6]

We never realized that our manual sunshade could be used when it was raining...we were told at delivery it was a Parasol.🤔

We've already taken possession so I guess I will have to rely on them to check it out for me.

Sure, why not have them take a look at it next time you’re in for warranty work? [emoji41]

I believe they just became available in the last couple of weeks. Or that was the way it was explained to me anyway. I have been waiting since last summer.

For people with models other than the classic 30 you will need to let them know if your door is in the front or the rear of your unit

Sorry with any model you will need to let them know from our rear door so they can give you the extra tilt on the opposite end

What I meant to say was you will need to let them know front or rear door so they can give you the extra tilt on the opposite end.

I just replaced our main control board with their updated version that allows the tillt on one end to drop almost all the way down!
This is a big deal for us as I do my best drinking sitting outside while it’s raining!
Nate and the rest of the ZipDee crew have been working hard on this project and we appreciate them!!!
Can you tell us the revision number on the board so we can check to see if we have the latest?

Airhead, from what I was told this is one of the first ones out and I received yesterday. I’m not near our Streamer now.
If you tilt the rear of your awning and it only drops about 1/2 way, it’s not the updated board. If you look at the picture I posted the new one drops almost all the way down. About the same as a manual ZipDee awning.

Copy that 69SoulShine, easier to check the board at the moment. Will do when I move, thanks for the info.

I spoke with Zip Dee this morning.

This new board with improved tilt is not available yet.

Apparently, the board above is literally the one and only produced, and is being used for field testing. We are not supposed to know it exists

Whoops
I spoke with Nate before I posted this info and he said go ahead and he would just need to know front or rear tilt. Guess something changed.
I’ll be field testing 2/8-15/19 at Hunting Island SP if anyone want to assist in this venture. There will be refreshments available under the test awning and a good chance of rain all week!!!
