Hey, can we talk awnings a minute

This is our third A/S and all have given us the same awning problem. At some point in time, I've managed to break the loop while pulling down the awning. Sure, we've got the thread out and done the job only to have it repeat a month later. Looking for a longer term fix. Not wanting to land on my butt again.

If the sewing of the tab pulled loose just resew it with a backing support on the top side. Be sure to ue a sun resistant thread or else it will rot away quickly. Also make sure there is enough of a pattern to the sewing to give support. If you have a Zip Dee call them. They will tell you too.
