Front Window 'Awning'
My 1963 Tradewind has a fiberglass front window cover (or rock guard).
It is an off-white color and badly weathered. The aluminum frame is original and in good shape.
Any suggestions to replace or renew the fiberglass? Maybe a black solar type panel?
If the frame is in good shape, brackets, etc., just replace the fiberglass with 1/8" or 3/16" thick tinted Lexan. Also, center section of the three piece rock guards on the newer Classic (8' wide models) will fit nicely on the older trailers but they cost considerably more. Look for your local plastics distributer in the Yellow Pages under "Sheets, Rod, Tubes" to find a local source for Lexan. They will cut a piece to size for you. Darol
