Dometic/A&E Awning Help

I want to install a model 8500 Dometic/A&E patio awning on my '66 Caravel (17'). I've seen photos of installs where the right support arm is mounted to the right of the door helper handle, and the left on the rivet seam to the left of the heater. My local dealer seems worried about the install; I didn't get any help on the Dometic website - will my dealer have better luck getting install info out of the company? Anyone have a foto of a similar install, side trailer view? Is it mounted about the exhaust vent? Any ideas more than welcome.

The mount on the left of the heater vent will likely be into a rib. The mount to the right of the grab handle will likely miss being in a rib so will not have much support - just an aluminum panel.

I am having a had time finding mounting brackets for an awning on my 1973 airstream. I'm refurbishing from the ground up and when I bought it the awning was attached but not well. And the top mounting bracket was gone. Cannot find anything on the web that looks the same as what I am needing. Wondering if there is someone else that would work. It is an a&e dometric. 900c
Any guidance would be great. Thanks
