Cost of awning

I have a 1976 thirty one foot AS without an awning. Can anyone give me an estimate about how much money I need to start saving to purchase a Zip Dee all brackets, arms everything but the top track. I'm sure they may be choices but a ball park will do . May need to start saving birthday money.

The last I saw....the awning itself was around $2900...not including the hardware. Pricey stuff!!!

Ouch!

We have the same situation with the Albatross except ours has the hardware for the Carefree Awning (at least we think it is all there) but the fabric is shot. I would also like to know what it is going to cost to add a working awning. I don't know if it would be cheaper to s start over or stay with the Carefree hardware we already have. I'd like to see what you discover in this thread.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

I'll second that motion! There's no better way to get an estimate than to call ZipDee directly and speak with them.

You might also call whomever you would have install it (if not doing it yourself). I found that the wholesale price + installation cost was equal to buying from ZipDee direct + shipping to my house; not to mention the value in my time installing it.

For reference though, a 14' awning (on my 24' motorhome) one year ago was just under $2000 installed and that was with up-charge for a "premium" color pattern.
