Carefree question????
Is it safe for me to take the awning tube off the arms if the awning has been cut and the tension is relieved? Thanks Michael

Yes you can remove the roller, with no issue.

Hello Michael,

You can remove with little risk as long as you're certain that all the stored energy has been released. Do you have the installation and operation manual for Carefree?
