Can anyone tell me the physical difference between the #6 and #7 arms made by Carefree? I have one off a 1971 AS and wonder if the only difference was length for the one used on a 1968 AS.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
I've never replaced fabric. Maybe someone who has will add a post.

I think the difference in the arms may be due to the changes in the early and late model airstreams. Around '69 or 70 the vista view windows showed up causing the awning rail to be moved up. requiring longer arm/different profile?

just a guess.
Carefree has always said that "Airstream" puts the awning rails in the wrong place.
I wonder why other awning manufacturers don't claim that about Airstream?
