Sandra, If your owner's notebook has the ZipDee information included you should find instructions on how to remove all or most of the bow. Check it out. Otherwise, there will be plenty of help soon on this forum I feel confident. You're not the only one to experience this and I feel certain there will be no reason to replace the awning. After learning the hard way I now put my main awning away if I leave the trailer for a long period of time or if there's wind or threat of rain.
