Awning Repairs

I need to find somewhere to repair the awning on my 2003 Land Yacht. It is partially torn off, due to running into something and I need it repaired ASAP or at least I need to know how to remove it temp until it can be fixed?

Welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear about your awning.
  1. The first thing you need to do is to remove the tension on the arms. The rear arm is preloaded so that the awning will roll up. You have to disconnect the rear arm and unwind the tension from the roll.
  2. Then you need to remove an aluminum segment from the awning. They slide out after the screws are removed from the ends.
  3. With the awning disconnected from the rv, lower the arms and remove the roll and arms. I would suggest at least 2 people for doing this.
More information and drawings can be found at the zipdee website.
