Awning Question

I have read through many old awning related posts and still have a couple of questions for the group.

I have an old Carefree of Colorado awning on my 31' Sovereign and like the look of the curved arms. The fabric is shot and I plan to replace it soon and want to add window awnings on the front and rear, and curb side Is it true that curved arms are no longer available? If so, at what point do I scrap the old hardware and buy new?

Thanks,

Kevin

About two years ago, a Carefree dealer showed me his catalog which listed new awning arms for 1969 and later Airstreams.

You're in good shape; I need to hope nothing happens to mine.

Unless your frame is bent or twisted, just put new awning on it. $200.fabric--$1500 New,I believe someone posted they still bend them. If you don`t want those old arms, just let me know and I`ll pick up next time going north.Dave

awning replacement

This winter i purchased a new carefree awning complete with retractor and end caps from a local rv dealer. It fit on my old curved arms.
Good luck
