Seeping canvas

My canvas was seeping like a sive when it rained on my 345 awnings. Tried a product called CANVAK that I purchased from a camping supply/RV store. $25.99 per gallon with a suggested coverage of 100 sq feet. Got better coverage and the stuf worked! My nextstore neighbor said he has used Thompsons water deck seal on his boat canvas with great success. Good Luck!

What make of awning is it? Is it made with Sunbrella fabric? Hmmm...we have been in many a rain storm and ours doesn't leak ~ it's made from the Sunbrella awning fabric hich is a very heavy-duty acrylic.

It is important that an awning, especially one prone to leaking be lower on one corner when extended. Usually this is the corner furthest from the door. The faster the water can shed off the awning, the less it should leak.

This awning was made by a small company,{in california}towmehome awnings. They do great work, only took a couple weeks to build.and very reasonable, came w/all parts, poles, etc. I ordered the canvak, from cabellos.Im thinking of shortening the poles so theres a natural slope?and maybe there wont be as much sag in the middle.if anybody wants her email let me know.these are pretty heavy canvas.

I would try a tent seam sealer on all seams (if any) before I coated the entire awning. Just a thought.
