Awning Bracket

I have the interior skins off of my 64 GT. I am about to re-wire and put everything back together. Before I put the interior skins on, is it best to go ahead and attach the awning brackets. I think I read in a thread somewhere that it is a good thing to do to make sure they are attached firmly. Just wondering, Andrew
