AE Awning

Hi Air

I have replaced the fabric on my AE 8500 awning and it's working very well.
But i would love to get fabric on one of the sides, my wife is freezing in windy weather :-)

i found some plastic hardware in my Airstream, look at picture 6947.
what are these for ?

holding fabric on the side maybe ?
my best guess :-)

Regards
Peter

If you don't need your awning deflapped, it makes a great clothespin, too.

Anyway, as a deflapper, slide it along the rail to the middle of the awning, then use it to clip the awning to the rail. With the edge of the cloth pinned right in the middle, that limits how far the fabric can deflect in the wind.
