'72 tradewind awning length

I've searched the forum for a 1972 tradewind awning length w/ no luck. Can anyone tell me the length of this awning. I'm looking at buying a 20 ft used awning but I'm quite sure it will need to be cut down (which from the forums, I understand can be done). Any info will be a help

thank you

E

Hello "E",

Typical awning lengths are 10' shorter than the rig stated length. A 25' rig is usually fitted with a 15' awning. Should you purchase an awning that is too long it can be shortened to fit you application.

Awning systems aren't inherently difficult to work on but they can be dangerous so please proceed with caution, and take the time to read through any manufacturer's installation and maintenance documentation before rolling up your sleeves.

We're here to any questions and offer advice if asked.

Regards,

Kevin

Eric.

The correct exact size for a Zip Dee awning for your Airstream, is 14 feet 11 1/4 inches.

Andy
