1977 awning measurements?

Does anyone have the correct measurements for the patio fabric on a 1977 31' International? I need to replace mine but the fabric has shrunk so much that I cannot engage the rafter arms. Obviously I can't measure the one I have. Really, all I need is the length since I can measure the aluminum slats for the width.

What brand of awning do you have installed currently? Typical awning extension is 8', but if have seen some longer, and shorter.

It's the original Zip Dee. I'll try calling them since I need some other parts as well. I would rather buy the cloth from my local dealer if possible because we have a good relationship and they give me a discount. It's about 8', but I don't know whether the actual length is something crazy like 7' - 11 3/4". You know, just enough to screw you up.
