Years of shining streams

What is the last year of Airstream that would polish to the mirror finish?
I have a "69 Globetrotter and don't know if it will shine out like the older ones.

Any year will polish up. you have to use certain methods and polishing compounds to achieve a mirror finish.

I believe a '69 can be brought to a mirror shine.

I've seen new ones polished - so 69 will look great too.

On that note, what is the best way to strip the clear coat on my 72 Trade Wind so I can polish to that mirror finish. Any products anyone can recommend?Garth & Joanne
