Beautiful! Now you just have to strip and polish your tow vehicle to match...and change the house to aluminum siding....:-)

Thanks! Those pictures were taken a few years ago. I haven't ever finished and don't think I'll ever be truly finished.

Keep in mind that originally Airstreams were not polished. That came some years later by owners and never even until today by Airstream. So technically nothing original or historical about polished Airstreams. All that aside, a nicely polished Airstream is a sight to behold.

Addicted to polish!

My ambassador was recently polished and when choosing a LP tank system I could not bare to put something there that wasn't polished. I too bought the 40#'s and it took approximately 6 hours to detail both tanks entirely, including the top center portion around the ports and handle. I would do it again if I had the option of course! It is not a cheap look though, I'm always worried about them vanishing overnight. If anyone new their value it would be like a thief taking a catalytic converter, always pointless but profitable. Anyone found a good anti-theft device other than something that covers up the beautiful hard work?

I know the picture almost hurts your eyes from the glare.... No, but that is what 4 lbs. of F9 Nuvite and 7" wool pad will do to a trailer. When you guys see it you think, "it looks shiny". When I see it I think, "that's a lot of my time"... I still enjoy looking at it though.

Why do you have to polish!?
Because, if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing!
