Where to Purchase Napier Removall 220

I was wondering if any major chains carry Napier's Removall 220. Or will I have to order online. Where might one find this. I have stopped at several automotive stores who carry something similar but not Napier's. Thanks for the help!

Bob

Vintage Trailer Supply has it. Their website states that the Napier factory has recently closed and product supply is low. Get it while you can. It comes in 1 or 5 gallon sizes. Here's a few online suppliers:

Napier Removall 220 1 Gallon

RemovALL paint removers and products

Paint remover, rust removal, glue remover, deck restoration, wood cleaner... by Napier

or here's an email address to request where to find near you:

cservice@napiere.com

Good luck! Be sure to report back if this product is no longer being made for those who may need to buy some before it's all gone.

Mary

FYI, I tried to use cservice@napiere.com and the E-mail was returned, probably because it no longer exists...guess I better get it while I can. Is there another product that works as well should the Napier not be available?

Thumbs up Citri-Strip

I prefer Citri-Strip. It too is "ecologically safe" and it's readily available. If you just want to "git'r done" use Aircraft Stripper - but it is nasty stuff, burns your skin and will melt plastic.

I used Aircraft Stripper on the outside of our '64 GT years ago - before knowing about Citri-Strip. I used Citri-Strip AND Napier on the interior of our '56 Safari...Napier RemovAll stinks really bad like ant spray - I did not like it primarily because of the smell- especially in an enclosed space. Also not my favorite because of the limited availability. Citri-Strip smells like an orange creamsicle and is available at all the big box stores. I also felt the Citri-Strip worked faster & better in fewer coats than the RemovAll (or RemovSome as we called it) - at least on the paint inside our trailer. I would not ever use Aircraft Stripper over head or with a power washer, because if it drips or splashes on you it would not be a good thing. The way we stripped our interior, we had everything out & used a power washer with the Citri-Strip & RemovAll.

They were just sold to Freeworld Coatings. Freeworld's web site doesn't appear to mention the acquisition.

I have used both Napier 220 and Aircraft stripper on my 67.

Napier works good, but more than one coat is required.
The Aircraft stripper performs better, melts the clear coat almost instantly.

It's a trade off, Napier is safer, friendly to use.
Aircraft stripper is very toxic, burns the skin and is just nasty stuff.

I hope the new owner will continue with the Napier product.

Here's the reply I received from the new owners - I believe this guy is VP of Marketing in Australia...

Hi Gary,

Thank you for your support of the Removall range. We are currently in
the process of closing the manufacturing based in Vancouver and
reestablishing production facilities in both South Africa and Australia.

We are assessing possible distribution of product back into North
America and next week I will again visit potential partners in this
regard.

We are working towards finalization in late October this year and will
keep you informed of developments

Regards
Rod Tweed
