Where to puchase Aircraft stripper Phx,AZ?

Looking to find Aircraft stripper since Napier remove all is nowhere to be found. Can anyone tell me where to purchase in Phoenix, AZ? Also any suggestions on what a good price is.

Thanks.

Some NAPA stores have it.

Some aircraft supply companies have it.

A top level auto paint store may have it.

Expect to pay, ball park, something over $20.00 per gallon.

Walmart, AutoZone, Advanced Auto parts all carry it by me. It's in a spray can, if that's what you're looking for.

West Marine

You can purchase it by the gallon at West Marine, at least in San Francisco.

You should also be able to find it at chandleries and boat yards. The guy next to us at the boat yard, used gallons of it to strip his 40 foot fiberglass Kettenburg sailboat. Seemed to work like a charm.

Good luck!

Advance

I,ve been gone all day looking for it. Finally found it 30mins ago when I called Advance Auto 15oz spray $7 or 32oz bottle $17. Vintage trailers has Napier removeall but it is $64 a gall plus shipping. Lowes has Diamond Brite to polish with. Susan

I bought Aircraft Stripper at O'Reilly Auto Parts. They had the spray can or gallon jug. Be careful - it's nasty stuff.

The Best Stripper

Hi---I used the "environmentally friendly" stuff from VTS for my first trailer, and it was great, but I much preferred what I used for my '53 this past summer. 5F5 is about $45/gallon from your local paint store. It is very toxic, but no problem if you are using it out of doors.

I prefer it because you can "cross-hatch" with your brush, so that you don't miss any tiny spots. I could work quite large areas at a time....I would go over the area with vertical strokes, then go over it again (before rinsing) with horizontal strokes, which would bring the remover "up" again, and get it working to remove anything you missed. With the stuff that I used on my first trailer, you could not go over it a second time, without it all falling away. I could pressure wash immediately afterward, and then move to the next spot. The 5F5 was much less affected by weather conditions, and the price was right.

I did a test run with the aircraft stripper from Bosch Enterprises, and that was okay, but I still preferred the 5f5.

Be careful using a pressure washer. You may blow the sealer out of the skin seams.
