What Type of Polishing Pad to Use?

I am looking for some advise to what type of pad I should use on my buffer to clean up my Avion. The Avion's did not come with a smooth finsh. It came with the "matte" anodized finish. So I would be polishing to clean up and not to get the "mirror" finish that is on the Airstreams.

Also, andy recomendations on the rpm speed to use?

You can see the type of finish in the following picture. Thanks
