Question Wax to use

Was looking for suggestion on a wax to use now that it it is all done.

I used the Caswell compounds which leaves a wax but wears off in few weeks

Any car wax?

Also what frequency?

thinking twice a year.

After seeing recommendations from a number of others here (and after using a number of other products) I've adopted Griot's Garage products as my new best friends. Like others, I use Griot's Paint Sealant. It goes on and off easy and lasts. Amazon.com: Griot's Garage 11088 Paint Sealant - 16 oz.: Automotive

I have finished removing the clear coat and have also finished polishing my 1993 30' Excella. My problem now is how to keep the water drip marks off the aluminum. every time it rains I get new water streaks on the sides. Wax, soap etc. ?????

Collinite 845 gets my vote. Easy on. Easy off. Real wax.

Yep...been using Griot's for years.

One of the handiest of Griot's offerings for keeping the AS clean.

Everyone I have spoken with stated to use Walbernize, but upon researching, it states on their site not to use on clear coat finish.

They have started offering Griot's Garage products at our local AutoZone. I think I'll try their quick wax product.

Waxing

Thanks everyone, Good ideas on waxing. Shouldn't I wash the trailer with some kind of soap before waxing it?? I've used the Nuvite at three levels of grit to bring the shine out. will Nuvite fine be OK in place of a wax???

All our 'stuff' gets washed with THIS. Sooper soap, and won't scratch>>>>a bit cheaper on the amazon.

POI...I mix 1oz soap in one of THESE, conserves the soap and makes it much easier to wash with no waste dripping off the mitt.

Even if it dries a bit it will break down the dirt and suds right up with a wet microfiber mitt....plus>>>you don't need much to get the job done.

I used Walbernize sealer this year and really liked the results and seems easier to apply and remove. It will not damage clear coat.

Glare Professional Polish gives great protection on an Airstream.

You can purchase it from either Airstream.com or Amazon.com for approximately the same price.

Avoid buy Glare on eBay. There have been reports of counterfeit Glare popping up there.
