Waterless Car Wash
Do any of you use a waterless spray car wash to get the bugs off the front of your stream, before they bake on to the finish?
I have found a few products like, ProtectAll that is waterless and Griots has a spray and wipe product. There is also a host of detailing sprays out there. But I'm not sure what the best product is to use on the the stream.
I usually just wait till I'm back home to wash it, but thought that using a easy spray product every so often might just be the ticket to keeping things looking good while on the road.
What do you use?

I use Griot's speed shine on my cars. My A/S is brand new, and I waxed it with their "Best in Show" wax. Have used their products for years -- excellent quality, great service. I bought a Lambo a few years ago, and the dealer told me that they use Griot products to both detail and keep the showroom cars dust free. So, if it's good enough for a $300,000 car, it should be OK for an Airstream (realizing that our aluminum might be somewhat softer than composites).

I haven't used any of the products mentioned in the above posts, so I'll order some small bottles and have it for the next bug smashing trip. Thanks for your responses.

BTW....I would NEVER WASH an Airstream without water, carwash soap and microfiber mitt.

....and if you're really careful, you dry it with a 4HP "Master Blaster" which concentrates massive amounts of warm air to blow your car, cycle, A/S dry. Trust me, it works!

I know this is an old thread but I am looking for some additional advice on cleaning the AS while traveling.
My AS is dirty after the trip from PA to FL. Not gritty but dirty after driving in hard rain for a day. I don't have an easy means of washing it with detergent and water where I'm located. I have seen others use Envy (or other waterless products) to clean their AS and they look great.
Suggestions or comments appreciated.
Thanks!

I have had great results with "Wash and Wax All" from Aero Cosmetics and lately a product I like even better: "Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine". I use them on both the TV and trailer.

I have good luck with Groit's Spray on Car Wash. Like some of the others, where I store my rig doesn't allow for soap and water wash.

I used Dri Wash N Guard for 15 years. Easy on, easy off. Great product that beaded water for 6 months.
I have since started using Griot’s, thanks to this site. I believe you will find either one useful.
