Under Belly Skin Restoration...

Does anyone knowof a good source for purchasing a new belly skin for a 1961 Bambi? Mine has some patch work done and I would be interested to find out how much a replacement would cost if available.

ask for a catalog from www.airpartsinc.com
they have all manner of aluminum and the kind of stuff native to our Airstreams.

They have aluminum rolls and sheets that would work for belly skin replacement...although I don't know what specific thickness and species to ask for.

I also read that Aircraft Spruce & Specialty www.aircraftspruce.com is a source. They are in Ca. & Ga.

Airparts is in Kansas City, Kansas (near me).

Andy at Inland can tell you the right thickness you need.
