Like I said I've been using 400 grit on the orbital and it hasn't been an issue. It's great for bad oxidation and wet sanding smoothes it out

Oxidation

Anybody have some suggestions on how to get rid of oxidation without having to break the bank?

These deep deep scratches..

Sanding my man. 100 bucks in sandpaper and an aggressive cutting agent.
I used black emery bars, Took about 90hrs but I'm almost done cutting

My skin was absolutely atrocious.
