Lots of times panel replacement is faster and cheaper then all the polishing you can do.

yeah, just keep in mind if you're using Nuvite, you'd better order now for arrival sometime late summer. They merged or got sold or something, and the shipping is abysmal. I've been waiting over a month. Order in November was the same way. You're better off switching to AirBrite. I got that stuff in like 2 days from Vintage Trailer Supply and it's just as good.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

My 72 was WELL USED in its former life, and it has the battle scars to prove it.

I used all of the tricks, a rivet in some dents, a decal over other dents, some paint and filler covering a few, bedliner in other spots, big patches covering big holes, and the aluminum that shows is kind of rough and not polished that great..

Still, I get lots of looks, photos and compliments from folks who can look past a need for perfection.

The red covers dents, the black bed liner covers more dents....

When perfection is not in the cards, camouflage is good....

I totally agree with that, can feel a lot of the pits... All good I'll just keep pushing along

I did a really good job with the interior. I've turned it into a 50's diner. This thing was an absolute mess when I got it and restored it basically frame up.

Just want to get the exterior as nice as the interior. If your a stock nazi please don't hate on my project, were pretty stoked on it!!Click image for larger version
