stubborn clearcoat

Has anyone found a solution to clearcoat removal on window frames and hubcaps.....I have tried methylene chloride and it doesn't touch it........G6 & F7 won't touch it at all. I have sanded a small spot on the the hubcap and that worked out fine but I don't want to spend 4 days sanding hubcaps....not to mention 19 window frames. Thanks for the help.

Try Kleen Strip's Aircraft Stripper. It can be found at Wal-Mart, Pep Boys, Auto Zone, etc.

It worked great on our clearcoat...but it's nasty stuff! For more info, search "stripping" and you'll come up with lots of alternatives.
