Hello SurlyQue, and welcome!
Depending on the degree of shine you're after, you may find that the Cyclo is needed to eliminate the "swirl marks" left by the sander on the first pass. Check out "PerfectPolish.com" for details. Enjoy!

The removall 220 container says it is best to leave it on overnight. It does not etch the aluminum.

Question Removall Out, Eldorado PR 5044 In?

I just talked talked to Customer Service at Vintage Trailer Supply and they informed me that they are having so much trouble getting Removall 200 from the supplier that they have switched to this:

Eldorado PR-5044 Paint Remover

When you click through you see that it contains petroleum products but is peroxide based. They say Boeing uses it.

Anybody here have any experience with this product? I did a couple of forum searches on the product name but didn't see any references.

Hey, that'd be great! I may have leave payment for you if we're not here when you come through, but I'd definitely like to take you up on it, thanks slothayer. I'll PM you in a little later today.

Polishing professional in Florida?

I'm sure I saw someone recommending a business in Florida for polishing but am now unable to find it.

Any recommendations much appreciated.

Best regards

Nigel

Is Eldorado PR-5044 safe around pets?

Does anyone know if the Eldorado PR-5044 is safe around pets? We are planning on usingthis to strip our 1965 Overlander. We have an enclosed rural property where the trailer sits on our gravel driveway in front of our barn. The problem is that our dogs, two Dalmations, have full of this enclosed yard. I surely want to pose no dangerto them or our barn cat.

I have read the MSDS sheet on the product, along with the advertising sheet. Both seem to suggest that they are not poisonous but don't come out and say that they are "safe around pets".

If anyone knows for sure please respond. We want to get this part of the process taken care of quickly. If we have to we will move the Overlander to the front driveway outside of the fenced yard and do the stripping there.

Hello - I just bought an '85 Excella. I don't care about it being really shiny, but I do care about all that pealing plastic stuff. Wondering how to get it off.

I use carnauba wax. A lot of people use Nu-Finish.
