I hear ya. It rubbed me wrong just looking at it. I always tried to take it off when it was cool outside and it was always a struggle. Today at 95 degrees outside, the Airstream gods must have smiled upon me cause that sucker flew off faster than you could say Thor.

From there, I just went to town. Heck, I probobly gained a few ounces of NCC today as a result!

I still get a kick out of that sticker...America's best RV value....yea, right.....

You got it Twink. The heat sure makes it easier to remove stickers. A blow dryer works good when it's cold out too.

Ok, I just heard back from the factory and first let me say I was impressed...they responded in far less than 24 hours!

At any rate, they also said using mineral spirits is what is recommeded. Keep in mind I never took Chemistry and nearly flunked out of Biology, so basic mineral spirits without a bunch of additives are found in.....?

Can I go to the hardware store and simply get mineral spirits? Is that what makes up ligther fluid?

I think whatever I do, I am going to make the LP tank cover my sacrificial lamb.

Hardware store? Probably... but are you sure that wouldn't unbalance the running gear?
